2021 was a really big year in the Nigerian music industry, and clearly these set of producers were outstanding in defining the sonic boundaries of the year.

BELOW ARE THE TOP 15 NIGERIAN MUSIC PRODUCERS OF 2021;
As one of the newest producers in the game, Eskeez definitely had a great year. He is present on this list due to his work with Olamide on ‘UY SCUTI‘ album and the singles; ‘Omo x 100’, ‘Loose It’, ‘ROCK’, ‘Sugar Daddy’…
ESKEEZ is the CEO of EskeezProductions, a producer/artist from Nigeria also known as ‘Eskeez on d Beat.
14. “DON JAZZY”
Don Jazzy’s contribution to modelling young talents doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. His work with Ayra Starr on ‘19 & Dangerous‘ album and Johnny Drille on Before We Fall Asleep album cannot be overlooked.
In 2021 he produced one of Rema’s single titled ‘BOUNCE‘, and Burna Boy’s ‘QUESTION‘.
Shizzi is Davido’s frequent collaborator, and his presence on A Good Time cannot go by unnoticed. However his biggest song of 2021 was Fireboy’s “Peru” which has since gone on to claim the number 1 spot in the UK and also broke into the billboard charts.
He had a really great year, scoring some dope hits during the year and definitely deserves a spot here.
12. “LEGENDURY BEATZ”
On this list is an afrobeats production duo, known as Legendury Beatz. They believe that its all about your music so the duo create content to keep you entertained, from AfroDance videos to music videos and audio visuals that suits your every mood.
Legendury Beatz goes on the maddest rave of the year for their work on Wizkid’s Essence and Made In Lagos album which has already cracked the billboard hot 100 and billboard top 10.
Rexxie definitely had one of the biggest songs of 2021, with Mohbad’s KPK which was his standout song all year. He also dropped a dope album titled ‘A True Champion‘ (ATC).
Pondit’s other production for the year are; Naira Marley’s Drug Test, First Time In America & Kojosese, Buju’s ‘Kilometer‘…
P2J earns his spot on this list for his work on Wizkid’s Made in Lagos album and Deluxe. His production on Wizkid’s global project is top notch and definitely deserves some Grammy.

9. “BLAISE BEATZ”
Blaise Beatz is not a new name in the industry, having crafted amazing projects for Adekunle Gold, LAX, and many others. He definitely went on a ride in 2021.
Akunwata Marcel with the tag name ‘OBAH’ co-produced Kizz Daniel’s LIE, Victony’s PRAY and produced the amazing singles; ‘Sinner‘ by Adekunle Gold, ‘So Bad‘ by Simi featuring Joeboy, ‘Shakara‘ by Ice Prince x CKay, ‘Free My Mind‘ by Omah Lay, ‘No Wahala‘ by 1da Banton, ‘Testimony‘ and ‘Outside‘ by Buju.
MasterKraft’s impact in the Nigerian music scene will remain as legendary as ever. He had quite an eventful year especially songs like Hallelu featuring Zlatan x Bella Shmurda, Egbon featuring Phyno and Secure The Bag featuring CDQ x Falz.
Mr Sunny Nweke in 2021 also produced the hit songs, EGEDEGE by Larry Gaaga feat. Theresa Onuorah, Flavour x Phyno and LEVELS by Flavour.
7. “PHEELZ” Mr Producer (The Rhythm Is Cool)
Pheelz, whose real name is Phillip Moses, is a multi-award-winning Nigerian producer and singer. He is known for producing hit songs that have charted in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
Some of Pheelz favorite 2021 moment was the release of his debut EP, Hear Me Out; Winning producer of the year at The Headies; Sharing his art through Rii Collective; and producing banging records with Teni (FOR YOU, HUSTLE, MOSLADO), Adekunle Gold (HIGH), and other artists.

The music producer with the production tag name, KukuruKu KuK DaH TiN deserves huge accolades for his work on Ruger’s breakthrough project, PANDEMIC EP which also happens to be his own breakthrough project also.
Kukbeatz dropped a follow up late last year with Ruger again, another outstanding EP titled “SECOND WAVE” and we expect them to rule the waves in 2022 again.
Special shout out to SARZ, not only for his stellar production on Lojay’s project and Obong Jayar’s EP, but also for giving the Nigerian industry exceptional talents-producers like P.Priime and Tempoe who are both graduates of his academy.
Sarz-Is-Not-Your-Mate, In 2021 he rebranded the singer called Lojay and introduced his sound to the music industry. The duo blessed our speakers with the hit songs, Tonongo and MONALISA.
On every Zinoleesky, Marlian, Mohbad hit in 2021, there’s an 80% chance you heard the tag line ‘niphkeyz’ at the beginning.
Niphkeyz was one of the standout producers in the street hop genre in 2021. He produced the following hit songs; ‘Feel Good‘, ‘Backside‘, ‘Don’t Call Me‘, ‘Naira Marley‘, ‘High Vibration‘, ‘Denge‘, ‘Champagne‘ and ‘KILOFESHE‘. We look forward to him growing even bigger in 2022.
3. “YUNG WILLZ” aka WILLISGIVEDEM
You probably know his tag line ‘Wi Wi Wi Willis Giddem’ more than you know him and it’s okay, it’s the curse of the music producer. The young, new school producer stay strong on No. 3. See a Recap of his 2021 record below
Three things majorly propped Tempoe up to the top of this list; his tag line MAD!, co-production of CKay’s Love Nwantiti, and his stellar work on Omah Lay’s outstanding 2021 hits- Understand & Godly, plus Joeboy’s Door & Alcohol.
Tempoe had as crazy a year as P.Priime, Produced Big Smash Hits and the following breakout singles; CONFIDENT by Savage featuring Buju, ROSEMARY also by Savage but this time around featuring Victony and CONFESSION by AV.

P.Prime takes the top spot on this list for his dynamite-filled year. He had bangers all year long, from working on Wizkid’s Made In Lagos, to turning into the industry’s resident hit maker, bringing Reekado Banks back to life from the grave with Ozumba Mbadiwe, and closing the year with Portable’s Zazoo Zehh!. He may be young, but he’s clearly on another level.
Peace Oredope also known as P.Priime, born 28th March, 2002 is a Nigerian Music Producer, Music Creative Director, Recording and Mix Engineer who has worked with a vast array of artists and musicians such as: Wizkid, DJ Cuppy, Zlatan, Fireboy, Omah Lay, Olamide, Teni, Peruzzi and a host of others.
